We selected the fruit for this wine from Sonoma Vineyards that, considered one of the best growing regions for Pinot Noir in California. We harvest the fruit when we feel the fruit has reached its full potential and then crush and fermented in stainless steel vessels. Each lot is then barrel aged in oak barrels to allow the fruit tannin structure to develop and soften over time.
The blends are assembled and put back to barrel to allow more time for integration. Ten to Twelve months in barrel is needed to allow the components to come together and create supple and soft tannins that Pinot Noir is known for.
